Meet the creator of MACJEMI 

Jonah Inoa

Jonah is a young writer and artist from New Jersey. He has been inventing creatures ever since he began speaking; he started drawing them when he was in Kindergarten (and should have been working on classwork instead).

He continued drawing them (at home), and published the first volume of the MACJEMI Monsters and Creatures coloring book series at the age of five. To date, three volumes of the coloring books have been published — each with over 50 original creatures — as well as one MACJEMI picture book, When Monsters Count to Twenty. There are also four blank journals in the series — designed to inspire other authors and illustrators of all ages!

Jonah is currently working on developing new creatures for the fourth coloring book in the series as well as writing the next picture book; both books will be published by Inoavation Books later this year or early next year.
